WE ARE VOLUNTEERS ...

Marine Rescue Kalbarri is an Incorporated Volunteer Association attached to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) of Western Australia.

An affiliate member of Volunteer Marine Rescue Western Australia (VMRWA), the representative body for the more than 1,400 volunteers from 38 marine rescue groups around the Western Australian Coastline plus the Cocos/Keeling and Christmas Islands.

These dedicated individuals give their time and effort to aid mariners in trouble on the water between ​Esperance in the South to the East Kimberley in the North.

​Marine Rescue volunteers work in close liaison with the WA Police Force to coordinate and perform marine rescue activities as well as assisting during other emergencies including bushfires and major storms.
